I didn't know where to post this, but I am asking for a recommendation on an LCD projector for school/art classroom use.
I had a teacher come to me tonight at my Lions Club meeting with a personal budget of $450-700. School won't finance it. They say it's not mandatory, so the teacher is looking for one on her own.
I didn't think I could find too much in that price range. I did a quick ebay look, but some of the replacement bulbs cost more than the projector. I'm thinking that a classroom setting should use 1000-1200 lumens 'minimum'. Don't you?
Some of you Home Theater entusiasts probably have done your homework, so it would make my life easier if you could point me in the right direction. Better make/model over another...etc...
Maybe some of your companies are upgrading or would even consider donating her one. If so, I could put you in direct contact with her.
Thanks,
