I am watching TBS hd tonight and I cannot believe my eyes. Real true blue hd. Blue Collar Comedy is in hd. This is the first hd program I have seen on here besides baseball. I do not check this channel on a reagular basis so it might not be the first they have shown in hd. I will be looking in from time to time now knowing they are pushing a little more hd. Pq looks very good!!!

Ellen's big show was also in HD. This is exactly why we need to be a bit more accepting of these upconvert HD's because with the HD feed available, the pressure is on the networks to broadcast new shows in HD. If we wait for them to have a large number of HD shows before they get the HD feed, It will never happen.

Most of the "live stuff" will probably be hd. Sit- coms will have to be remasterd. There are some out there like Yes Dear that was filmed in hd. I wish someone could tell me why they cannot go ahead and show it in hd.

Frank TV is also in HD, wow TBS-HD has now about 2% in HD!!!

Havent watched TBS-HD simply because there isnt much on that interests me SD or otherwise. Even so, I never expected the change to HD to happen overnight, the playoffs aside. When it does I might watch a little more of it depending on the progamming.

Same Here watching a recording of frank TV from Directv. It's definatly strechovision. The shot of the cameras are HD cameras but TBS is not sending the program itself in hd, even though the program said In HD were avaible. What the hell is TBS doing?

Same thing with The Office... Even though it originally broadcast in HD on NBC, TBS is just stretching it.

I added a ? to the thread since some disagree with the hd or stretch-o-vision...
Last night's Frank TV was stretched again. Frank is heavy to begin with and does not need any help. Going to change timer to SD channel.
