TBS 6925 Vs TBS 6983

So what's the difference for people how have them.

PCI express 1.0 - 6925
PCI express 1&2 - 6983

What else any performance difference?

And what about the dektec I have a few of there ASI cards and there awesome.

The 6983 is a dual tuner card as well it uses the very latest st tuner and demod. The only reason I'd recommend the 6925 is if they wanted to use my kernel and software in linux. I haven't had time to add support for it yet.

Tbs does offer a linux driver but it's closed source, so for me it's of no use.

The 6983 is a much better card.

Yes i believe so updatelee uses Ubuntu.

The tbs 6983 will work in Ubuntu with tbs's closed source drivers. The 6925 will work with tbs's and my open source drivers. My drivers have many tweaks to add spectrum scan, IQ plot, better blindscan etc.

I don't have a 6983 so I haven't been able to add support yet.
