Take a HR21 on vaction

I have a navy freind that sationed here in new orleans, he is going on leave back home to Las Vegas, He has NBA pass.. His dad has D* but no NBA pass, if he brings his DVR with him will the NBA game pass work in Vegas?????

Yes it will, provided his Dad has the correct dish set up he should get all his normal programming except the locals that he may get from N.O..

If he will be there long he could change the service address by calling directv to get the vegas locals, then would need to call back when he moves back home. if he is only going for a little while though it isn't worth the effort.
