Tailgating 700 miles away...

I'm a newbie here to the forum with a DirecTV tailgating question.

I'm currently a central Ohio resident with a designated tailgate dual LNB dish along with an RCA DVR.

I'm planning a fall trip(in an RV) to Talladega for a Nascar event and was planning on bringing my equipment. I was also hoping to subscribe to the ESPN Game Plan for that weekend so that on Saturday before the race, I can be watching and tivoing a days worth of football to hold me over for the entire afternoon and evening.

My questions are 1)will my dish/subscription work in Alabama (assuming the elevation and azimuth are correct) and 2) will my ESPN game plan subscription work outside of central Ohio?

Game Plan should work as well, but the locals probably won't.
