I can't take all the credit for things, the Cpanel team were able to get the old server partially running after the php and apache got corrupted by the update.
I would have been able to get us up on a new server, but it would have taken longer. And I could have moved us to the new server that night but with me starting at 4:30 am and with it being 6 or 7 at night I said, well thing are running, let me take care of it tomorrow.
And that actually worked out as I was able to setup and configure this new server so it was ready for the transfer over. The only thing that bit me ws the Amazon S3 plugin which honestly I forgot all about. Once I figured how to install it we were back online.
So I learned a few things that will make it eassier for next time... and hopefully there is no next time at least in this type of emergency situation.
