swm 16 controversy

So I am wondering on the swm16 can a person run more then 1 p29 PI. Say I was to install it on a apt and hooked up a p29 in each unit that had service. Then if a person moved out or quit service the p29 from the other units would take over on powering the 16 switch... ?

Actually there is a special setup just for that with MDU Lite program.

Each unit gets its own power inserter so that 1 power inserter doesn't effect the whole system if its unplugged.
