I currently have two direct tv accounts one in North Carolina and one in Texas,would like to transfer the nfl package from the account in North Carolina to the one in Texas after the North Carolina account is put on vacation status. I called customer service and they told me that it wasn't possible since I have two separate account s. Can't see paying for nfl package twice.

That sucks that you can't transfer from one account to another, but since this is the off season, why not cancel the one you don't want and start one on the account you do want it on?

That's what I was thinking. But of course you will have it on the switched account for the next year not the one it is presently on.
Doesn't Directv have an internet add on option? If so I would get Sunday Ticket at your main home and cancel it at the vacation home. Then if you are going to be at the vacation home for a week or two during the season you can watch on the internet.
