I recently purchased a LinkBox 9000i. Hooked it up and had an issue with it recognizing 4 port on my 8 way switch. At first, it switched all five ports just fine, but a few days later, it wouldn't switch to port 4. My old receiver used the same switch configuration and it worked just fine. Just for grins and giggles, I changed out the switch with another identical to it, and it did the same thing. (Both New Switches)
Put my old receiver back in service, and it switched to port 4 just fine. Has anyone else had a receiver that was port sensitive? I haven't moved the cable from port 4 to a different port yet to see what it does. I'll let you know how that works out when I get time to change it.
