switching between tuners

I do not want to highjack the good discussions on the HR20 so I will ask this in a separate thread.

I read the stuff on only one buffer in the HR20 vs 2 in the 10-250 I have never used this feature so I went home and tried going back and forth. I found it cumbersome at best.

Am I missing something. Is there a quick way to go back and forth on tuners?
I am hitting info, toggle down on the menu and entering to switch.

I am using a Harmony remote and changed the function because I did not know what it did.

also if you hit live tv when on a channel it switches tuners as well
