Switching between tuners on HR21

According to the thread http://www.satelliteguys.us/directv-dvr-forum/74324-switching-between-tuners.html, you can toggle between tuners on an HR20 by hitting the down arrow or pressing Live TV. I just got an HR21 and neither of these methods work. And there is no Live TV button on the remote like my old HR10 had.

Is it true that these methods work on the HR20 and not the HR21? If so, I am going to have my unit exchanged.

The toggle feature is very important to me and the new way to do it on the HR21 is unacceptable! What used to take one button and 1/10th of a second now takes finger gymnastics and several seconds every time.

Sorry, D* does not use the Dual Live Buffers that DISH does.

I just got the HR21 myself, to toggle, I set to record both shows, then just use the PREV button to jump between the 2 shows. I delete the recordings later when I cam done. I don't have a LIVE button on my remote.

This was the original work around and can be done fine,,however people had a problem of having to record both shows, not sure why, but they didn't want to do that.
