The built-in switch of the 1000.2 allows for up to three dual or single tuner receivers. Four receivers would require a DPP44 switch if you want to avoid running additional cables to the existing receivers. The DPP44 can be a bit pricey if you are doing this yourself. If E* does the installation, the switch will be provided. Another alternative would be a SD dual tuner receiver like the 322 with TV1 for one room and TV2 for the other. I don't believe that would require an additional switch and you'd likely save $5 per month in additional receiver/outlet charges.
Get a 322 instead of two 311s and use what you already have, much less work involved. Or get the three single LNBs, W-Bracket and a 34 switch. Either way new cabling from dish down will be required
Thanks guys. . . I ended up getting a dp34, w bracket, and 3 dp lnbs. Worked like a charm. I wanted to go with a 322, however the basement is finished with a sheetrock ceiling, which made it hard to achieve. But thanks for the tips!
