It wasn't misleading at all what I said. There is in fact a small handful of national channels that D* doesn't carry in HD. But then YOU claimed there are 'dozens' of channels that Directv should be carrying in HD. When I pointed out that there are only 15 channels, not DOZENS, that they need to complete their national lineup, you started spewing out every niche channel that you could think of, including many that aren't carried at all (even in SD) by either sat company, and many that don't even HAVE an HD feed available in order to pile up some sh*t in an attempt to bolster your argument.

So now who's perpetuating deception?

Really? I count 14 that Dish has and D* doesn't. Not including anything you have to pay extra for, or 'wish list' channels that don't have an HD feed like Sleuth and Chiller.

And here you go again. YOU are trying to convince people that these "ULTRA NICHE" channels are worthy of 'basic' carriage. As I said, I have no objection to adding most of the 15 MAINSTREAM channels that are glaringly missing from the lineup. But sorry, you can't convince anyone that enough of Directv's 19.4 million subscribers give enough of a crap about the friggin Wealth channel or the Africa channel that warrants it getting an HD feed.

i'll give you that yes there are maybe 6 channels there i would like but i can't think of any that directv has which i would trade for. wait maybe the tennis channel hd. thats it though.
