Playing it might have been smart. By burning it, it helped convince Eric that his plan was working and he didn't need to use his.ER must have had a bad case of the jitters... he burned the IA for no good reason...
I watched Tribal Again late last night and you could see it in everyone but Shambo's eyes and face as Jeff read the votes that Eric was a goner...
I can't stand the Queen, so I hope she sticks around to stir the pot with Russell.Shambo was giving the "Queen" the eye when she went into her rant at the end of council...
I think Russell may be my favorite player ever on survivor....I think Shambo is going to flip for sure which will make it very interesting.
When the season first started and people were criticizing Russell, I said that players like him make the show entertaining. Without him this season, the show wouldn't be nearly what it is now which raises the question: Are the producers tipping him off about the location of the immunity idols?
Such a shame that Laura won immunity. That incredible tribal would have been SO MUCH MORE satisfying if she went down as a result.
Russell is the bomb. Can't believe how much I have flipped on him, from despising him to thinking he is among the best players of all time.
Maybe I'm a cynic, but I'm sure the producers saw early on that Russell was going to be the star of the show, and I wouldn't put it past them to do everything in their power to keep him on for as long as possible.I seriously doubt it.

I'm still not convinced......perhaps the cameramen had a loud conversation about the location of the idol in Russell's presence. I'm not sure word would get out....these contestants sign ironclad confidentiality agreements.Yeah, but not cheat. That was undermine the entire show, and would get out. I don't buy it. Of course they saw he was a star, but they would not rig it.
Confidentiality Agreements, Reality Shows, Survivor Reality Tv Show, Reality TelevisionIn 2001, former Survivor contestant Stacey Stillman filed suit against CBS and Survivor producer Mark Burnett claiming the reality show is fixed. According to Stillman, Burnett "manipulated" two other contestants to vote her off the show. However, Stillman, along with her castmates, signed an 83-page highly restrictive confidentiality agreement with CBS stating that if they reveal anything about their Survivor experiences without permission from Burnett or the network, they could be sued for $5 million, which did in fact happen.

Well of course there is no evidence! All I'm saying is this: The show is a TV show first and a game second. It needs to get ratings. The higher the better. I certainly wouldn't put it past the producers to take "liberties" to make the show more interesting in hopes for higher ratings. It's not like this hasn't happened in the past on an actual game show, so I don't think it's out of the question for it to occur on a reality show. What because he is smart enough to find two idols, there must be cheating? I just see no rationale for the argument. He is smart enough to know that they have hidden idols in camp for the past few years, and looks in the likely places. The guy is very smart.
I find no evidence to support the claim that there has been cheating by the crew.
