I installed a Fortec Star, "6 foot solid panel steel dish" by myself. It wasn't that hard. Its funny how my kids are never around when I need help. When they need money or something from me its a different matter.

I think I'll try to order the 6 footer sometime this summer. Yeah, I know what you mean about the kids. Same deal with my boys, but they live about 120 miles from me.

I'm about 70 miles north of Chattanooga and about 60 miles west of Knoxville near Crossville just off I-40.

Thanks anyway Turbosat. It the thought that counts. I think I can install the six footer by myself. Probably will order one later this summer.

Well I had a plan for this dish. I was going to point it at 103w, connected to my Scientific Atlanta D9234, for one radio signal I wanted to have 24/7. Well, now I discover that the signal I wanted, is still there, but has switched to DVB-S2! :rant: So that eliminates the 9234 for receiving it.
1. I'm not sure why a RADIO signal would need to be S2 and...
2. I refuse to waste an HD/S2 receiver on this, to just have it tuned to one radio signal 24/7. The D9234 would have been perfect for this.
Oh well. This dish can stay on the dish pile for a while.
