It's interesting to see states can allow sports betting. I wonder how long will it take to see casinos offer sports betting besides horse racing betting.

Not long at all. PA is already setting up theirs to take sports bets, in addition to the off-site horse racing bets they already offer.

They had already passed a law to set it up before the Supreme Court ruling.

Pennsylvania: Democratic Gov. Tom Wolf signed a bill last year that authorized sports books at the state’s casinos along with mobile and online sports betting. But gambling industry leaders are skeptical that sports books will flourish in Pennsylvania because of the bill’s tax provisions: a 36 percent tax on gambling revenue and a $10 million licensing fee for sports book operators.

Mississippi casinos begin taking sports wagers

Legal sports betting kicked off Wednesday in Mississippi, the first state outside of Nevada to allow bets on in-state colleges like Ole Miss and Mississippi State.

Sportsbooks at Gold Strike Casino in Tunica and Beau Rivage in Biloxi began accepting bets at noon local time.

Mississippi joins Delaware and New Jersey as states that have launched legal sports betting since the U.S. Supreme Court struck down the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act of 1992 in mid-May.

Mississippi is also the first state with legal sports betting in the college football hotbed of the Southeast. While New Jersey and Delaware prohibit wagers on games involving instate schools, the Magnolia State will offer betting on all professional and college teams, including Ole Miss and Mississippi State of the SEC.

Just waiting for all the Native American Indians run casinos here in Wisconsin especially here in Milwaukee where Potawatomi Hotel and Casino to start doing it. I know that it help improve their bottom line in revenues.
