When I said $299 for the SuperDish I was meaning that was the price for the SuperDish and installation (since professional installation is required).

Also they indicated that you did not have to prepay for a year to get the offer if you did not sign up for credit card autopay, all you had to do was pay the $25 shipping and handeling fee (but still have the one year commitment to AT50 + locals or HD).

Not sure what you thought you heard, but I recorded the techchat and I'm looking at the slides as I type this and it says:

o $199 Standalone Including Installation
o Enroll In Credit Card AutoPay Or A $24.95 Delivery Fee

The Free SuperDish slide says:

o Free With 1-Year Programming Purchase of America's Top 50, DISH Latino Or Greater And SuperDish Programming

SuperDish Programming Includes:
Locals At 105, International Programming And Dish Network HD Pak

Now you can interpret "Programming Purchase" as either a contract commitment or a pre-pay. But I know that last year when they offered the free 8PSK module it required a 1 year pre-pay of Discovery-HD.
