I had dish network guy come to install superdish on my roof yesterday. Everything went fine. I came in the evening to see the wirings. The dishnetwork guy put the coaxial cable from superdish to the receiver in the house and connected one receiver to the TV. Shouldn't the wire from the superdish need to connect to grounding wire first?

My Adelphia cable coming from the street pole goes to side of my house wall where there is a grounding wire and from there another coaxial wire comes to the receiver in the house.

Yes there should be a ground block between the Dish and the Receiver. From the ground block there should be a solid #10 wire going to a NEC accepted ground point. If there is not one call Dish and get someone out there to fix it.
