No, it won't work. The directv and dishnet satellites get away with the small dishes because they are very powerfull satellites with 110 watt transponder outputs. Commercial satellites like gr10 or amc3 have outputs of between 25 to 40 watts per transponder. You need a much bigger dish. The dish must be at least 76cm in size and I wouldn't go less than 90cm myself.

The previous poster is confused about the facts.

The superdish is eliptical and measures 36"x20" (91 cm x 50 cm). The sat at 105 is not a high powered DBS sat and before AMC15 was placed there, AMC2 was being used. AMC2 has similar characteristics as AMC3 and Galaxy 10R.

The dish should work for Ku. The closer you are to the center of the country, the better it should work.
You will need to connect to the lnb for 105 directly.

sounds like it might work then, cause i am in iowa.. i just wasnt sure if the the dish brand ku lnb (marked 'FSS Stacked LNB') would be compatible with the twinhan card.. i wondered cause i didnt think that the DishPro Lnbs would work, and the other two lnbs are DP dbs lnbs..

would sure like to know for sure before i set a pole in the yard for the superdish..

thanks for all insight

I recently picked up a superdish for no particular reason (hey it was free!).

I was wondering if that four bolt flange on the Dish LNBs will work with a C120 or WR75 flanged LNBs. Anyone know? I might have ot take mine apart and find out :).

The SD will work just fine. The FSS LNB is stacked, but will still work just fine. I've used LNB's that are stacked (KU Band not DBS) and works pretty good :)
