Also, SJ can't be a standalone without a hard drive....
No it can't the Joey is just a client. It has no brains to tune anything other then whats being sent by the Hopper.Disagree with that. The SJ could potentially show live TV.

Folks.. think of it this way.
Its a regular Joey with a 2 Tuner Expansion Pack on it (and that expansion pack is only seen by the Hopper)
Thats what a Super Joey is.
Seemed like it would have been easier just to add a D44 switch to all S/J installs. You could have left the two lines from the dish. One port for the inserter, two for the solo node, and one for the integrator.
