The world is going to fall apart, how can you freaking put the SB on NBC?
COMMISIONER, HAVE YOU SEEN NBC's PQ COMPARED TO CBS AND FOX?
OH GOD, BABY JESUS IS GOING TO CRY FOR THIS.

THIS IS BS!

I think it's fine that the Super Bowl is on NBC. Pro football has been a mainstay through out 50 yrs. on NBC. Now I'm not saying 50 yrs. straight because they did lose football in 98 but Super Bowl 1 was on NBC too. Super Bowl 3 with Joe Namath's guarantee, The Heidi Game, and Super Bowl 13 which was a great game was on NBC. NBC, despite layoffs and lack of programming is still one of the 3 or 4 networks in the country. I'm totally fine with it.

Don't tell me there is no Macro-blocking at all.
The PQ on CBS and FOX are far superior than NBC.

I agree. I hate the game is on NBS this year.I hope they but the best cameras possible out there. The last game that I saw on NBC had the best pic quality I'd seen all season so hopefully they corrected some of their issues.

NBC Sunday Night Football looks just as good as Fox and CBS.

maybe the issue is with some of us only but I'm not sure. others have had the same complaint on NBC. The college games look especially bad to me on NBC.

i think it looks better on nbc than fox.... Plus we get to listen to madden now YAY !!!!! (that was sarcasm).

The Pitt/Notre Dame game looked great earlier this year.

For me, CBS Football has some problems, but nothing major.

Thank god I will not be watching the game in Connecticut; like the Giants/Panthers game, they might not flip the HD switch until the second half!

i believe that is more of a local issue. I went through something similar earlier in the season but not many others had the same complaint. the weird thing was that each person that did complain about this were all in different states but it was only about 10 of us.

I suppose Fox and CBS offer more consistency in their PQ everywhere than NBC.

Where I am, NBC's HD PQ itself is quite good. However, once there's MOVEMENT, it's a macroblocking fest. CBS here seems to be the best ones in terms of PQ and motion. Fox is best with motion but their PQ isn't the greatest. ABC is mainly mediocre in both.
