The Red Zone has always been in SD as long as I have known, I hardly use it, so it could have changed I guess.

I tested it today and it was SD but it did switch to games that were either 4:3 and 16:9 with black bars. I watched it on an older SD TV and it kept flipping screen sizes. I only did a few min on HD to see if the picture was HD but it was SD that looked like widescreen. It was kinda odd.

That sounds like what FOX was doing with their early attempts with HD, it was really widescreen,probably 480 or so
