Sunday Ticket only??

Hey guys,

Got a question for you....

Can I buy a dish and receiver on ebay and just get Sunday Ticket next season? or do I need to get a programming package in order to get Sunday Ticket.

It is going to be tough to get rid of the Dual Tuner HD DVR come football season.

No You Don't

I have Directv just for NFL and no other packages.

For new subscribers, you have to subscribe to a programming package. For existing subscribers who only had NFL, they can still get NFL only as long as they don't disconnect their account. Any new activations of just NFL are against D* policy.

You used to be able to do this, but DirecTV stopped this about 18 months ago. Those that had nothing other than NFL ST were grandfathered in, however, this will not work for new subs.

oh well, NFL is still more important to me then the HD DVR... was hoping to get the best of both worlds!

You could always get the DirecTiVo HD-DVR.

You can get something like Total Choice Limited or Opciom (whatever they call it) and save some money. Or you can get an NFL business account, but that will probably cost a lot more...
