I saw my first known sun outage at 1:45 pm on 97W.I almost started to reposition my dish before I got wise. Was out approx 8 minutes.

Ooops...edited to 1:45,not 2:45

That was sunny today (not sure about the day after tomorrow when maximum solar-outage comes), so I took couple of picks. I see that there are almost no obstructions towards chosen satellites.

Yea, well, i had a frustrating moment as i was outside tuning the dish during one of the sun outages, and it took me about 10 minutes to figure out why the hell the signal was getting worse. I came inside and confirmed it was a solar outage time for me. I was just about pulling my hair out... :rolleyes
