How do I get Suddenlink to stop calling me to upgrade my services? They keep calling me to add cable or phone. I've asked them time and time again to stop calling yet they keep doing so!!

File a Do Not Call list complaint with the FTC?

(Yes, you've asked them to stop soliciting, and they haven't, that's a DNC violation AFAIK.)

It sounds like he is already a customer, so the do not call list doesn't apply. You might try emailing customer service. Failing that, I would email corporate.

iirc, Requests to stop calling have to be honored even for existing customers...

Don't answer their call. I don't talk to any company that I do business with if they call me. You can never trust who is really calling you. If it happens to be important I tell them I will access my account online and call their number if needed. Then I hang up. Simple.

The calls normally originate from their Tyler office which I know is a main office for Suddenlink. I'm going to contact their corporate office.

Let us know what they say, I too am curious if you can get a place to stop calling even if you are a customer.

I talked with Suddenlink customer service Friday evening and I was told that my account already has the "Do Not Contact" for everything including calls, emails, snail mail, and door to door. She said she is not sure why I am still getting sales calls....

Me too. It's been a week since the last sales call. Hopefully they get the message now. All I want from them is internet. I have DISH for TV and Ooma for phone. I don't want any more of their services and if I want to add a service or upgrade our internet speed I will initiate the contact.

If our small town had an alternative for high speed that wasn't wireless I would look into switching!

Interesting (to me) observation
