I wanted to know if anyone else is having the following issue:

I am using Gmail with Firefox 7.0.1 and I subscribe to many SatelliteGuys posts. The issue is that I am always forced to log to SatelliteGuys when I click on a thread link in Gmail when I receive an email after someone replies to a post. This seems like a cookie issue, but if I open a new tab and navigate to SatelliteGuys, I’m automatically logged on. This issue does not happen in Internet Explorer.

Are you certain that you've checked the "keep me logged in" box when you log in?

The beta releases seem to kill cookies once in a while, but not the general releases.

Yes and if I copy the link
Code:
http://www.satelliteguys.us/showthread.php?t=269797&goto=newpost
and paste it manually in the address bar of a new tab, it works.

Does clicking on the link normally open a new window (browser instance)? If so, you might try setting the "open new windows in a new tab instead" option.

"Open new windows in a new tab instead" is checked. I unchecked it and still have the same issue.

Perhaps a "Do not Like" button is needed here
