Stryker SR-955HPC any thoughts?

I'm getting the radio bug again and looking for something nice at a fair price. Anyone use or looked at the Stryker SR-955HPC? It seems like a smoking clean radio for a good price right out of the box.

Thinking about pairing it with a i-max 2000, I may try to get a tower to run with it.

Nice looking 10 meter rig I don't really talk to anyone so listening is all I do. Been playing with an SDR rig myself lately.

I think that is a favorite with the CB crowd. I used to have a couple of dedicated 10 Meter radios, but now mostly have full multi-band HF rigs.

Well pulled the trigger on a i-max 2000 with the ground plane kit. Ill put up some kind of tower. Figure for the money I should be able to get out a bit.

Cant wait to see what I get local. DX time baby!

I've been licensed for almost one year already and only made one 10M contact. I worked a station in Chicago last November 24 on a sporadic E short skip at 23:42 UTC.

Hope to hear you on the air someday when the conditions improve.

Guys this forum does not participate in illegally hacking anything. This includes hacking a CB radio to transmit out of bands.
