Great bracket, but due to the size of the clamp and LNBF scaler it will not resolve down to 4 degree spacing. If you are not going for optimized 4 degree, then this device will provide LNBF placement for almost any other position!

I use it in a modified form on my setup. Was pleased with the results I got with it. I didn't try it "as is" to see what results I could get.

Worked very well to get Echostar7, easy to point and lock in, though it helped that the LNB placement was so much lower than G10R.

Was a bit harder to point and lock in due to how close it had to be to IA5, and with all the various positions and adjustments to handle. Of course, it would have been easier if I was standing on the ground, instead of on a ladder and leaning over and reaching up to make the adjustments!

What someone needs to come up with is a sort of weird shaped dish, like a torridial, that will pull in the full arc, and comes with lnbs an an arm/arc thingy already aimed roughly where they need to be to get it all... and some way to easily nudge each lnb individually... maybe set up the base on some sort of special doohicky that has a magnetized compass that will automatically find true south for you and make it all plumb by itself so that the rest of the arc lines up perfect... we got motors on our dishes, lets motorize the installation too!

that is a Toroidal dish...but it only can get up to a 40 degree span. Still good enough for most applications

There really won't be a "full arc" setup due to the arc itself and also where people are located. Here in MN (and midwest in general) we're lucky as IA6 to Ia5 are true souths so we have a decent amount of the arc to see. but someone in NY the arc is tougher to get.

Also, there is the issue of 2 degree spacing that we use in North America. Toroidal requires a 3 degree spacing.

Good article on the T90 in the most recent Tele-Sat magazine.

If you're only interested in a handful of reasonably close birds it seems like an ideal way to go. No messing around with a motor and, more or less, instantaneous channel changing.

But yeah, the 40 degree arc isn't enough for me.

yeah I saw the article too. Pretty good article and does make you think especially if you use multiple dishes for multiple services.

But the 40 degree arc is tough. 83-123 or 74-114. Would like to get both 74 & 123 on same dish :)

thanks Brian and Keith
I came into a four foot dish and I think I'll get one of the multi lnb holders and play around with it. I'll let you know what I come up with.
