Strangest "Sport" you've seen on ESPN?

Ha! The mifget person thing had me fired up, I thought I had missed something on espn! Hehe.

Oops; I forgot it had to be on ESPN; even though I think they only ran a story about the midget tossing I guess as far as on TV; the SPELLING BEE! ARGH!
Oh my god I would LOVE to see Midget Tossing on ESPN. Or they could put it on TLC and call it, "Little People, Big Targets." :p

yourbeliefs,

are you really going to get married soon, or did you switch your profile because you're annoyed with the 49ers recent slump?

The eating competitions are geat on TIVO cause you can just fast forward to the last segment where they actually have the competiton and not the 45 min of needless backstory on the contestants.

poker!

I'm surprised it hasn't died out yet with all the WSOP on ESPN and the Poker everynight (it seems) on NBC, ...

Eating contests. Spelling bees. Scrabble. They had this Puerto Rican version of dominos one time. All non-sports.

But arena "football" has to be the silliest thing ever on ESPN or any other channel that people actually claim is a sport.

Strangest sport on ESPN

On ESPN about 10 years ago I saw the Strangest sport I have ever seen.
It was about 12 AM and I just happened to tune in to ESPN and they had a game on that looked a lot like socer but they had a really wide goal and had more than one goal keeper. They played on sand and the refs wore shorts like they wore in 1400 E:confused:ngland and Spain and they carried a SWORD.
I tuned in middle of this game and I have never found out what it is called and I have never seen it again.
Does any one know what this game is called?
