I was recently at a Dish service call where I discovered a strange issue.
System was one Hopper 1, two Joey 2s.
I ended up finding that the Joey 2s were connected together via a splitter and were able to find each other, but from the hub, there was no tap or line from the client port. After looking around I found a very old cable which seemed to go to the Joey splitter, but it had obviously been cut for quite a long amount of time. Is there any logical way that these Joeys could have been operating in this time? I wasn't able to think of one and I ended up upgrading them to wireless joeys as it wasn't feasible to run a new cable to them.
