Stop recording in other room

I did my best to find an answer for this, but was unsuccessful. So I start up a manual recording while sitting in room 1. I set the recording to use TV2. I want to stop the manual recording early from room 1, but it doesn't let me. Is there any way to stop the recording without going into room 2 to do it?

Switch to single user mode and choose yes.

Go into the Timer Menu and delete the timer.
