OK, I have given it many weeks but the audio skips are still present. Happens almost all the time on HD local channels and occasionally on non local channels. There also seems to be problems with VOD during the daytime hours here in Texas. Lots of scramble and program lockups when watching VOD movies and shows.

Are these problems due to the cheap hardware that VZ decided to use or are the technical personnel not up to the task. In California I hear that there is a pure IP video provider servicing a community with HD so bandwidth cannot be the issue.

Haven't noticed any audio problems other than inconsitent volume levels between channels. I don't have the DVR though, just the SD STB (2500 model). I live in N. VA. The VOD I watch (mostly Starz, Showtime, TMC) is excellent. Sometimes the first 1-3 seconds of a VOD program is garbled, but once it gets in sync it is fine.

TWC DVR - are all outputs active all the time?
