I think those that are seeing the 121 when aimed at 119 are seeing first hand why 121 wreaks havoc on the Tube's transponder .

i agree shawn, i could have swore i had my BUD pointed at 119 and hit a dish 121 barker, but it must have been because the sats are so close together i was picking 121's barker.

you can see NASA, Angel One, Dish 101 and the "you need a second dish to see this channel"

As Iceberg said, you shouldn't see 121 when aimed at 119.

With a linear LNB, you might. you may also have mixed results seeing the FTA stuff on 119. I solved this problem by using a circular LNB when gunning for 119. With my linear Ku LNB I'd sometimes get the 121 card with the dish aimed at 119. The circular LNB won't see 121 at all .

Which satellite would be easier to pick up from the So. California area? 61.5 or 148?

Hello Gama, the 148w satellite is over the Pacific so that should be easier for you to pick up, but there is not a lot FTA there?
