Hello - I recently noted that my STB had not ever phoned home. And for quite a while it did not appear to have tried. I checked and found that I had it connected to the second phone line that we had disconnected a few weeks ago - so I switched it to the main line and put in a DSL filter since it is on the same line as our DSL. Still no go - it just keeps retrying.
Is this working for anyone? Is it a problem on their end? I tried calling the number from a phone and it never answers. Lastly - do they have it setup so it only expects calls from a specific number - so that I need to call Voom and switch the number on file? Maybe it won't answer if they don't detect a known number? Thanks...
