Starz Super-Pak for Direct TV

I was just looking at the starz super-pak on direct tv and it doesn't show starz family. Comcast and Dish Network have it on there. Is that an error or does Direct Tv really not have Starz Family? Thanks.

It's not a error! Directv doesn't have (Compared to Dish Network, Don't know anything about Comcast): Starz Family, Starz Cinema, 5-Star Max, Action Max, HBO Comedy, The Movie Channel Extra (TMC EXTRA), and a few others. On the other hand Dish doesn't have Oxygen, PBSKids, and a few other basic channels.

i wonder why they cant carry all in the premium packages like all the hbo all the cinemax etc

DirecTv has tried to make premium packaging equal. Each premium service is aimed tword different folks. Im sure you too have your favorite Premium service. They make all 5 premium services the same cost. Which means that if you have all 17 Cinemax channels and all 15 HBO channels and all 28 Showtime channels and all 21 Starz (including 8 encore channels) channels then the pricing on the premium services would be outragously high... So picking and choosing these the channels would be more realistic (which on the DL will be avalible at a much later date) Yeah you all get what im saying... But there has been talk at work on the issue and not all channels will be availble al a carte but the premiums will be, at that time i wouldnt be suprised to see the channel number increase. =) It will be nice but good things come to those who wait!
