I got a call from a D* CSR about a month and a half ago and was told I could get the Starz/Encore package free for 2 months and I would receive a Visa debit card for $25 to cover the added charges on my bill for these 2 months.. No strings attached..
I never got the debit card so I called D* today and was told I had to wait and mail a copy of both months bills to Starz/Encore to prove that I had paid for the channels before they could mail my debit card.. Of course the CSR that signed me up never mentioned this pain the the rectum procedure to start with or I would have never agreed to it.
Anyway, I got the CSR to cancel the channels and credit my next bill for what I had already been charged...
Anyone else received a debit card and did you have the same experience I did??
