Can a FTA box recieve starchoice? And what sattilite # is starchoice?

no a FTA box cannot receive starchoice. A subbed starchoice box receives starchoice

Can you do FTA and receive Starchoice with the same dish/lnb?

Sort of related to the same topic name, but not trying to use an FTA receiver for Starchoice.

if you mean use a fta to move the motor to point to the sat and have the other box decode yeah probably..

A FTA Receiver that can view Digicipher II channels would work for *C. Would also need a Linear LNB. I dont know what anyone would want to do with the *C Info channels and perhaps CPAC as the only channels available for free on the Anik F1 bird.

The only boxes that can do that are 4DTV receivers but if you go to an Anik bird it screws up the channel maps
