Star Wars Villain Captain Phasma ‘Very Progressive’ Says Gwendoline Christie
Gwendoline Christie has been discussing her upcoming villainous role in ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ describing her character as “very progressive”.The 'Game of Thrones’ star plays Captain Phasma, the instantly-iconic chrome-plated Stormtrooper leader.“We know very little about her at this stage,” Christie told Entertainment Weekly. “What I think people are drawn to is that this is a very progressive female character."We see Captain Phasma, and we see the costume from head to toe, and we know that it is a woman. But we are used to, in our media, connecting to female characters via the way that they look, from the way they are made flesh.”Her initial comment infers that we’ll learn very little about Phasma in this first film of this new trilogy, and that she will maintain some mystery. We don’t even know if she’ll talk. The 'Star Wars’ villain she is most reminiscent of is Boba Fett, who became a fan favourite character through strong design and minimal character development.Phasma is also interesting because, as Christie says, she’s a female character who is dressed head to toe for function not titillation, and that gave the actress.

This Star Wars Fan Theory Will Make You Rethink The Entire Saga http://news.yahoo.com/this-star-wars-fan-theory-will-make-you-rethink-122615077.html
Thought Jar Jar Binks was just some insanely annoying, lazily written comic relief concocted by George Lucas for ‘The Phantom Menace’? Well think again. (Maybe.)Reddit user Lumpawarroo has come up with an extraordinary theory that Jar Jar isn’t the incompetent sideshow he portrays himself to be, but is in fact the one pulling the strings of the Dark Side. It’s established that, according to Obi-Wan in ‘A New Hope’, luck doesn’t exist (”In my experience, there’s no such thing as luck.”), yet Jar Jar seems to have more than his fair share. Is it luck, or is has he been deceiving us and manipulating our perceptions the whole time?Rarely do we see ‘normal’ characters in the ‘Star Wars’ universe display extraordinary abilities unless they’re either Jedi, Sith, or have said abilities within themselves to unlock. The amphibious buffoon displays superior skills during ‘TPM’.The super complex somersault flip Jar Jar executes rather nonchalantly in front of Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan isn’t something a bumbling idiot might do.

This battery commercial reveals bigger secrets than the Star Wars trailers https://games.yahoo.com/news/battery-commercial-reveals-bigger-secrets-025448924.html
Trusted everywhere from Coruscant to Kessel. The battery maker Duracell might've just given away some serious Star Wars: The Force Awakens secrets in a new commercial.Spoiler alert: We understand if you want to go into The Force Awakens blind, padawan. That's why we've added this warning. You need to be mindful of the living force, but not at the expense of the moment, so don't scroll ahead if you don't want to see something new. And if you'd rather not take part in a lighthearted version of the speculation game, be warned: Here be (krayt) dragons.Set at home on Christmas morning, the commercial follows the adventures of a blonde brother and his brown-haired sister playing with their new Star Wars toys, powered by Duracell's Quantum batteries line. These Duracells retain the copper top of old but replace the black bottom with a red sleeve. That's appropriate, given that, at the beginning of the commercial, we see C-3PO and his new red arm, in motion for the first time.
