I absolutely loved "Insurrection"! It's the only TNG movie I bought on DVD,

Generations - Eh... At least Kirk gets to save the day and dies in the end.... TWICE!
Insurrection - Fatastic IMHO because it actually had a great story and only half the movie had things blowing up.
First Contact - Great for an "everything blows up" movie and they actually managed to have a real story in the movie too.
Nemesis - Um...ur...ahh... well, the best thing I can say about it is, WHAT A PIECE OF CRAP! :D

See ya

I liked Insurrection, also. Had a good story. First Contact was good two. Then again my favorite episode was "The Inner Light".

I liked First Contact and Insurrection, but not the others so much.

I'd be more excited if it was the series - didn't like most of the movies from this ST "period."

Of course, if it was the series, I wouldn't be able to afford it....

Star Trek on DVD has always been the highest priced seasons I've ever seen. There any reason for this aside from someone just being greedy? It's not like Stargate where you can pick them up for as little as $15/season on sale or anything. MSRP on Voyager box set.... $450... DS9... $430... SDDVD TOS Season 2 $92... Blu-Ray $120.

wtf. Just too many mouths to feed when it comes to distribution rights, or enough people buying the stuff that they don't have to lower the prices? Do the box sets come with an actual photon torpedo?

They had TNG at Costco for $40/season for a while there, which is not too bad, but I know what you mean. Most other shows, when they're on sale they're like $20, not $40...

Now $43.99 for the set on preorder.

Just ordered it. Four flicks, including three I like for $43. Great deal. And I am one of those who really liked Insurrection; and First Contact rocked. And I didn't even mind Generations (well, that's not true -- I was disappointed when it came out, but it has grown on me over the years).

Can't wait. :up :up

The Blu-ray collection just arrived. I love Amazon. $43, four films. Watching First Contact now on the 40" XBR; will watch on the FP later.

Resistance is futile. :)

Rub it in... ;)

:D

The picture quality on First Contact is stellar; the scene with the borg cube battle... wow.

Notice, I didn't start with Generations. Went straight to First Contact, and then going to Insurrection (one of my favorites).

Back to it..... April 4, 2063. :)

Help me out here please...
