Star-Crossed

Roswell and District 9 came to mind for me too, but I do not think I will watch this until I see if it is going to be picked up for another season.

I did like Roswell, but not the others.
If this high-school soap had monsters 'n creatures, I wouldn't give it a sniff.
(I like my monsters fully grown like True Blood or Lost Girl)
But since I have a weakness for scifi, I'll give it a try.
Not really expecting much, based on the first ep, though.

I watched the first episode on http://www.cwtv.com/cw-video/star-crossed/

They over played the we all hate the aliens too much. I mean really I think there would be a lot more curiosity rather than animosity. They hate may come later.

I will probably watch a couple more episodes. They may tone down the hate after the pilot.

I'll be honest,I didn't even know that this show was coming. It was a fluke that I found out about it,I discovered it checking the guide for upcoming Beauty & the Beast episodes. It seems OK so far,I'll keep watching.

I'll watch it for now ,but don't know if this will be anything more than the usual fashion show with beautiful people in District 9 settings.

It seems like a lot of CW revenue comes from well dress characters and the selling of their clothes (not to mention their music). I am still on the fence about this series. So far I hope that the Tomorrow People survives even at the expense of this show.

I'd also rather have the tomorrow people. I've enjoyed that one

Plot-wise, it's pretty stupid to have lethal weapons on a futuristic show.
I've watched two episodes so far, and don't think it's for me.
.
In researching some of the actors, is seems they might be well known to the younger generation.
That may give Star Crossed a lot more traction than would be apparent to me.

You should check out the ages of the actors in this "teen drama." Most of the ages range from their middle 20's to 30,& that's the collective ages of the "high school teenagers."

Very few young actors break out enough to get a TV role until they are in their 20s...

It is still limping along, I just hope they do not leave too many loose ends since only 3 episodes left and almost 0 chance of renewal.

I'd be disappointed if they cancel this show. Because the CW channel I have is not in HD,I use Hulu Plus to watch CW shows. I hope Hulu is counted in their ratings.
