Stacked Dish 6000s?

Has anyone used two Dish 6000 receivers in the same general area? Specifically, I am wanting to use them to feed my home-grown DVR, but I am concerned about IR conflicts on the remotes. Is there any way to differentiate the IR from the remotes (separate channels?) for each receiver so that I can tune them independently, or would I basically need to build boxes around each with an IR blaster inside?

To change the remote IR address on mutilfunction remotes, you hold the sat button till all the lights blink, then type the new address(02 thru 15), then hit Pount twice and record twice. Make sure the other unit is unplugged, and don't forget to label the remotes
