Stability/Quality of new receivers vs 811?

I currently have an 811, with the old HD pack and Voom..

I would like to upgrade to the mpeg4(or pseudo Mpeg4) equipment for the new channels, and probably get a 622...

Here's my concern:
for the first year I had my 811 - it locked up all the time, had various problem, until they got (relatively) stable software out...

If I get a new receiver that has a lot of problems, my wife will not be pleased. (She's not a gadget geek - just wants her TV to work.)

Is the 622 or the 211(?) stable enough yet?

Yes, I have had a few problems with mine but lately its been running rock solid

I was very happy with the 942, so I was very reluctant when I upgraded to the 622...but I have been very pleasantly surprised by how well it has worked for me. Very few problems, if any, though others have had quite a few issues with the HDMI on it. As for a comparison of the 622 to the early 811...it's night and day...the 622 is far superior in my book!

My 211 and 811 are equally stable now., except that the 811 has to download the EPG more often.
