st3618 problem

HI,

I have a ST3618 which worked very well until
a thunderstorm recently. It first lost video and
now is completely blank. Just show 0000. Not
even response to the remote.

I am thinking about reinstalling the software.
But the address I got
http://www.dmsiusa.com/Downloads/SatworkL.exe
doesnot work anymore.

My questions: 1) will reloading software help or not?
2) if so where can I get the software?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried uplugging it for a few minutes. That always worked for me.
Satworks are no longer made that is why DMSI no longer shows their software.
