Sprint Hero joins the Android 2.1 club

Anybody wanting to update should download the update from Sprint and not HTC. I was redirected to HTC first and the download was coming in like I had a 28.8 modem again. Not very fun when trying to bring down 110MB.

I have everything installed and now it is time to play. First impressions is this update is just like what was given to the Moment but add the Sense UI. No live wallpapers in this release.

It took all morning for me to download the update and then I figured out I had to download the HTC Sync and that took the rest of the afternoon. I'm going to update my phone when I get to work tomorrow. Can't wait!
