I have DirecTV and I am in the Springfield/Holyoke, MA area. A couple months ago we were supposed to get all the locals in HD. Fox 6 is supposed to be in HD but it is coming in SD and it looks terrible. Also, I do not have The CW. I was just wondering if anyone on here know what is going on with Fox 6 and The CW.

Fox 6 does not broadcast in HD as it is a digital subcarrier of Channel 40 WGGB.
There is no CW station in that market.

I'm not sure what is happening, but the Comcast Cable HD Fox channel is now carrying the Fox 6 logo. We used to get Channel 61 from Hartford as our HD Fox.
The CW affiliate in the Springfield DMA is cable-only. You can call DirecTV and get CW50 out of Baltimore (Channel 385).

Yep, the WSHM HD feed is both on Comcast and on DirecTV. We're slowly weaning ourselves off of Hartford.
