hobojo -- I must of missed that link, but yes that is the one I remembered looking at, for 110. Have you seen one like that for 119?
lilsaxon -- Clicking on the link right above your post from hobojo for the 110 sat, it looks like:
....
Spot 08 may reach Quebec, New Brunswick, and possibly along the northern coast/edge of Nova Scotia. In fact, it looks like New Foundland and Labrador way to the northeast has a better chance than Nova Scotia.
....
Spot 04 may reach the southwest tip of Nova Scotia.
But this is just estimating using the spotbeam map.
Using the above link and this link,
http://ekb.dbstalk.com/110list.htm, you can scroll down through the column labled "TP" and find the transponders with s08 and s04 and see which TV markets (and stations) may reach those areas.
TP-12 s04 = Philadelphia, PA (Allentown/Bethlehem, Reading, PA, Vineland, Atlantic City, NJ)
TP-18 s04 = Philadelphia, PA (Burlington, NJ)
TP-18 s04 = Harrisburg, PA (Lancaster, York, Red Lion)
TP-18 s04 = Significantly Viewed Locals (Harrisburg, Lancaster, York, and Red Lion, PA)
TP-20 s04 = NJ Market? (Smithrown, New Brunswick, Newton, NJ, Kingston, NY and Garden City)
TP-04 s04 = Syracuse, NY
TP-04 s04 = Albany, NY (Schenectady, Pittsfield, MA)
TP-20 s04 = Hartford, CT (New Haven, New Britian)
TP-23 s08 = Burlington, VT (North Pole, Hartford, VT)
TP-18 s04 = Burlington, VT (Plattsburgh, NY)
TP-26 s04 = Burlington, VT (Durham, NH)
TP-26 s04 = Significantly Viewed Locals (Manchester, NH)
TP-26 s04 = Boston, MA (Deny, Merrimack, Durham, and Manchester, MA)
TP-18 s04 = Boston, MA (Norwell, MA)
TP-23 s08 = Portland, ME (Poland Spring, Waterville, Lewiston, Augusta)
So if you have the Boston locals, you might be able to hop in your RV or VW and go to Nova Scotia and receive it.
