No, not really, D* has already told him they will have it soon. He also figures, even without SNY, it will still be better than our cable, that doesn't even carry all of our local RSN's. Example: last year he subscribed to Extra Innings, through Brighthouse. When ever the Mets played the Marlins, he never got to see the game. The Met/Marlin games would be blacked out on EI, because they said you are supposed to watch it on Fox Sports Florida, which Brighthouse refuses to put on it's cable.
Even if for some reason D* doesn't broadcast SNY, he will still get to see more Met games, on D*, because they give us both of our local RSNs.
As a matter of fact that is my main reason for having D*, as opposed to cable. Being a Marlins fan if I had cable I would never get to see a Marlins game.
