sportsmanchannel, ncaa & nfl on fta

sorry if this is a repeat question. searched and found nothing. before i make the switch to fta tv, a couple questions!

1. is the sportsmanchannel really free? ( I am in Flyway Highway withdrawls)

2. can you pick up local broadcasts of NFL and NCAA games, even if for example, Detroit is not on the fta satellite list of abc, nbc, cbs, fox broadcasters? another words, can you pick up the satellite feeds?

2. Not local, but the national ones, unless your local station is uplinking somewhere on the arch, If they arnt then no.

SportsmanChannel is free for now. They could decide to scramble it. You never know.

To see that channel, you need a C-band dish.
