I am thinking of switching from cable to direst tv but have a question. I am a penguins fane and currently get both fox sports ohio and pittsburgh with cable. If i switch to driect i will only get fox sports ohio. I seen the package that has all fox sports networks for like $13 a month and was wondering if all those stations will show baseball and hockey games or if those games will be blacked out due to extra innings and center ice. Hopefully that makes sense. Thanks!

First, you should be asking this in the Direct TV discussion pages. However, with Dish you should be able to add the Multi-sports pack and get Pittsburgh if you don't qualify for it with your locals. The teams control the blackouts, not the channel or the provider.

yea sorry i just noticed i did that. I was having trouble starting a topic and was frustrated and must have accidently clicked on the dish forum lol. Anyways thanks i'll have to post this over in the other forum as well. I was just thinking for example that it wouldnt make much sense to order extra innings if i get all the channels games are carried on for $13. So i though maybe the company blacked them out forcing you to order extra innings or center ice. Thanks for the reply.

SoapNet moving to Channel 253
