I was reading the review on the new Dish Network VIP 622 HD DVR and in one of the pictures, it showed a splitter. Why won't that work with DirecTV? Isn't dish the same?

Did you mean Dish Pro not Prodigy? I don't think that was a splitter for DISH I think it was a seperator.dragon002 said:

i do believe that legacy had seperate lnbs and prodigy (spaun of satan) had the one piece lnbs. if im wrong im sorry there must be 20 dishes and 200 irds. sort of mind boggling!
111,211, 311 411 922 ,622 ,200 ,1000, 500 super dish, legacy , prodigy, sw 21 sw ?? charlie get a grip. and i KNOW i missed a dozen irds and at least a couple dishes. not to mention all the sats he has splayed all over the heavens.
